Toyota Canada Inc. crossed the 20,000 sales mark in a month

Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) has sold 20,089 vehicles in April, which represents an increase of 7.2% over 2012.

Sales of 18,008 vehicles in the Toyota division have increased by 6%, while truck sales continue to fuel growth with an increase of 20.3% of sales. In April, new sales records were established for the new RAV4 and Tacoma 4x4, surpassing the previous record of April realized in 2011. Lexus recorded a total sales growth of 13.6% over 2012, sales of luxury SUVs have climbed 30.9%. Scion has also recorded the best April in its history since the launch of the brand, with an increase of 40.3% of sales.
