Toyota me.we Concept: dune buggy future

This is in collaboration with the designer and french architect Jean-Marie Massaud, Toyota has designed the concept ME.WE.

It is a small ultra lightweight vehicle whose weight does not exceed 750 kilograms thanks to its tubular frame and bodywork in polypropylene.

Among its main features, we find:

a retractable windshield;

removable body panels;

inside a bamboo covered with aluminum;

a foldable seat can be housed under the front seats;

Seat and a fully removable seat;

dashboard replaced by a screen connects to a smart phone.

The concept can easily be transformed into a convertible, a van, or even in all-terrain vehicle has four-wheel drive.

Cote Mechanical, each wheel concept MEWE receives an electric motor, while the lithium-ion battery is placed under the floor.
