The benefit of Canadian Tire slides
Income from Canadian Tire (TSX: CTC) improved slightly in the fourth quarter, while its earnings slipped by nearly 2 percent. The Toronto retailer has posted quarterly profit of $ 163.1 million, or $ 2 per share, down 1.9 percent compared to income of $ 166.3 million or $ 2.03 per share reaping the year last. Its revenues were ahead by 1.4 percent from $ 3.73 billion to $ 3.78 billion.
