Nissan plans to offer 15 hybrid vehicles by 2016

Currently, the only fully ecological model sold by the Japanese manufacturer in North America, it is entirely electric LEAF.

However, Nissan announced the release of 2016 15 hybrid vehicles.

A new approach is part of the Nissan Green Project 2016.

The manufacturer speaks, among other things, a technology of its own, which includes a four-cylinder engine combines a 2.5-liter electric motor fed by a lithium-ion battery.

Although Nissan did not mention any specific model, one can easily imagine that the Altima and Maxima ranges should be the first to enjoy this new hybrid technology.

Recall that the division upscale Infiniti Nissan vehicles, already offers its M luxury sedan driven by a hybrid powertrain.
