The largest private sector union in Canada held its founding congress in Toronto during the weekend of Labour Day in 2013.

The three-day meeting to give birth to the merger of the Union of Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union (CEP) will commence Friday, August 30 and ends on Sunday 1st September.
