When it comes to talking about famous preparateurs, it is not uncommon that we reference to German companies, which are best known around the world.
Names like: AC Schnitzer, AMG, Brabus, Carlsson, Gemballa, Irmscher, RUF and others.
The extreme tuning
By definition, a preparer is a company specialized in the processing of a serial vehicle which, itself, becomes an attractive bolide and generally much more efficient.
Here we talk about tuning extreme and not a small Honda Civic modified. For example, the Mercedes-Benz ML BlueTec is powered by a 240 horsepower engine, while the same vehicle assembled by AMG benefited from a more dynamic bodywork and an engine that delivers an output of 550 horsepower.

In North America, the preparateurs are rarest and most popular sports are actually divisions of domestic automakers: Ford Racing, GM Performance Division, Mopar and SRT.
Among independent, we find societies: Callaway, Hennessey, Hurst Performance, RENNtech, Saleen, Shelby, West Coast Customs and others.
