Saved by Lotus Renault-Nissan?

Here is a happy coincidence for Lotus, which currently is on the verge of bankruptcy. However, everything indicates that the French group Renault-Nissan could entrust the small British manufacturer assembly version serie, its concept Alpine A110-50, or even the concept Infiniti Emerg-E.

Recall that the concept Infiniti Emerg-E has been designed based on the Lotus Evora.

Once you become serial model, it will become a major rival to the Porsche 918 Spyder and Honda NSX, currently in development phase.

This is seducing machines powered by powerful hybrid powertrains.

Designed based on the Lotus Evora 414E, this concept could possibly be produced in very limited series, a dozen per year, the price would be far from being within the reach of every budget.

A decision has come

Given the financial situation of Lotus, one can only hope that the French automotive giant can agree with the small British manufacturer for the assembly of these two models.

However, this may not be enough to save Lotus bankruptcy. Thus, it would be very interesting to see Renault-Nissan to enter the capital of Lotus.
