Shelby GT500CR Convertible 1967: a superb replica

In 1967, only one cut Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 was offered. However, there was a convertible prototype form which was produced in a single copy.

Today, Classic Recreations firm presented us a beautiful replica of this unique model, which is proposed in two distinct engines.

In 2010, the company had been allowed to Carroll Shelby to sell a replica of the cup this year and had received the approval of the latter, just before he left us to produce a replica of the 1967 convertible.

It's called Shelby GT500CR Convertible. 

This very pretty cabriolet could revive memories of a lot of American muscle cars enthusiasts.

For the occasion, the Classic Recreations specialists have designed two declinations of their Shelby GT500CR Convertible:

-    545, powered by a 7.0 L engine 545 hp;

-    900S, powered by a 780 hp supercharged engine.

Each model is numbered and proudly carries the official crests of the brand.

Ads prices are $ 149,000 for the 545 version, and $ 199 000 for the lightning 900S.
