2013 Chevrolet Spark: rethought for urban life

The Chevrolet Spark, a mini-car currently sold in more than 100 markets around the world, will debut in Canada and the United States later this year with new features targeting buyers urban lifestyle.

To address the challenges associated to city driving, several features of the Spark are adapted to North American consumers, including:

Spark has the ability to conquer the steep uphill or downhill thanks to the assistance function at startup sloping and has been endowed with sixth sense as using the emergency brake, two characteristics serial in the Spark and novelty in the category of mini cars in North America.

The helper function at startup slope helps the driver in cities known for their undulating land - for example, Vancouver and Quebec - keeping the vehicle in place while the driver switches from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal to

Function Brake Assist detects emergency situations of emergency braking and automatically applies maximum braking power.
