It may be "full of electricity" in Fairmont hotels
After the Metropolitan Transportation Agency (AMT), Hydro-Quebec, the Hardware Rona, the grocers and rotisseries Metro St-Hubert, it is now the turn of the Fairmont chain hotels to join the electric circuit, a public network of charging stations for electric hybrid vehicles and rechargeable.
In Quebec, they are five institutions of the hotel chain will offer this service, namely:
Manoir Richelieu in La Malbaie;
Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City;
Queen Elizabeth in Montreal;
Fairmont Tremblant in Mont-Tremblant;
Chateau Montebello Montebello.
Guests of these hotels will be able to avail of the services of charging to 240 volts. The cost of a fixed charge is only $ 2.50, and regardless of its duration.
Times more realistic recharge
Through terminals 240-volt charging, the maximum recharge durations vary between:
3 and 4 hours for a plug-in hybrid vehicle;
6 and 8 hours for a full electric vehicle.
The Electric Circuit
The network will have no less than 120 terminals by the summer, which will initially be found in the regions of Quebec and Montreal.
