North American Rally Cup in Quebec

North American Rally Cup includes tests of performance rally counting towards the championship of the United States (called Rally America) and the Canadian championship. In total, this represents twelve sleeves that only the most experienced pilots and have sponsors interested by visibility on both sides of the border dispute. So it greatly reduces the contenders.

Despite everything, the level is very high because only candidates win all-categories in their respective countries are likely as North American. In this game, the driver quebecois Antoine L'Estage is now the best. Champion in the United States and Canada in 2010, he finished second in the U.S. this season and moves to a new national championship. He only needs to finish the Rally Challenge this weekend to reap a new North American title.

Rallye Defi, which presents the timed stages tomorrow in the Laurentians (around Ste-Agathe-des-Monts) and tomorrow in Ottawa (route north of Montebello), is one of the most spectacular continent rallies. One of the most followed by passionate rally too.

Faced L'Estage and Nathalie Richard co-pilot at the controls of their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.X, Patrick Richard (Nathalie's brother) and his co-driver Leanne Junnila defend the colors of Team Subaru Canada. With their Impreza WRX STi, they are the most serious rivals L'Estage / Richard for the win all-categories. In total, forty crews compete for the event, Subaru being the choice of car for almost two thirds of them.
