Today, the Management Board of Mercedes-Benz gives the green light to the production of this new declination of the seductive CLS which, incidentally, is presented in a completely new version.

The CLS Shooting Brake

This car is presented under a 'Break hunting aspect, which may be defined as an evolution of style on the basis of a two-door coupe or four in this case, which will turn station wagon (family), three or five doors. Which gives it a very low profile, extremely slender and usually a sports character. This type of family sports lines has already had its heyday in the '60s and '70s, in European soil.

On the inside, luxury, calm and voluptuousness are body in an ultra plush interior using materials very rich, such as leather and nubuck level seats and dashboard, plus the presence of woodwork, glass smoke and aluminum in the VESTED loading section. The trunk can even make up a refrigerated compartment and to a humidifier. A large panoramic roof allows passengers to enjoy a very well lit inside.

As it should, the Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake will be free to use petrol and diesel models Class CLS engines. It will be produced at the factory in Sindelfingen and commercialization is planned for 2012.
