Chrysler 200: It will take the place of Sebring

The replacement of the current Chrysler Sebring passed near bear the name of Nassau. Thereafter, we returned briefly with spelling Sebring.

But, here we are told that this car will eventually be called Chrysler 200. Becoming thus, a model of entry-level category has the Chrysler brand which is positioned just before the massive Chrysler 300.

In all likelihood, the new sedan inherit the style of the Chrysler 200C Concept unveiled at Detroit in 2009. Though the latter was a car electric propulsion, the 2011 Chrysler 200 will be driven by atmospheric engines.

Speaking engines, it appears that the base unit is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder whose power would be around 180 horses. A V6 3.6-liter Pentastar would have a power of 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.

The engine has four cylinders versions are associated has an automatic four-speed or a six-speed option. While, the six-speed automatic transmission is coupled with the series V6 engine.

Assembly at the factory in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Chrysler 200 2011 will be concessions by the end of this year.
