The all-new compact luxury hybrid CT 200h 2011 brings a brightness of contemporary chic to the Lexus hybrid lineup. Fifth Lexus hybrid model, the CT 200h offers a harmonious alloy athletic qualities and luxury that guarantees driving pleasure.
The new car benefited from a brand new platform that integrates many novelties developed exclusively for its body, its frame and its hybrid Lexus system, and it offers three different driving modes: Sport, when the driver desires to live a more dynamic experience, or Normal, Eco or EV for most ordinary daily needs.
In addition to the Normal mode, which promotes the smooth operation of the transmission continuously variable electronic control (E-CVT) of a new compact Lexus full hybrid system, the driver can select one of three driving modes that enhance respectively either performance and dynamic abilities, is the efficiency and the reduction of fuel consumption and emission.
EV, ECO and Normal modes are designed for a relaxed driving; they promote comfort, smooth acceleration even the silence and smoothness of the body, chassis and powertrain.
From the bus stop and at speeds of up to 40 km / h, the CT 200h can operate in EV mode (electric motor only) for a distance of a little less than 2 km.
