Ottawa could help the Canadian automotive industry

Ottawa considers the possibility of helping a Canadian automotive industry.

However, Finance Minister Jim Flaherty warns that only plants that have a "potential responsible" would be supported financially.

In an interview with the Globe and Mail, Mr. Flaherty limiting expectations indicating that Canada could match with billions of dollars that should be granted to the United States to the Big Three automakers.
