The CCARQ change its name to the Mobilis Corporation
As part of the evening gala 90th anniversary of the Corporation of the regional auto dealers in Quebec, held yesterday, October 10, 2013 at Theatre Capitole de Quebec, Pierre Langlois, President of the Corporation has publicly revealed the new designation and the new brand image of the Corporation at a very Mobilis audience concerned, the member dealers and their business partners.
During the event, Mr. Charles Drouin, CEO of Mobilis Corporation, tells us that "the origin of the project, we wanted to represent a renewed dynamism and always moving entity, even after 90 years of existence. This new denomination and its more visual reflect the values and the role that define the association. It demonstrates better the movement and interaction of our business community. "
The choice is easily explained. Mobilis is a Latin word which means mobility. However, the combination is directly associated to the mobility of people. The car can move over large distances and also allows for greater individual autonomy. So the new name fits perfectly to the organization.
Mobilis Corporation
Mobilis Corporation is a non-profit organization nearly 140 car dealers and heavy truck body who hold a franchise from a manufacturer of new vehicles. It accounts for nearly 99% of the territory covered dealers, which includes large areas of Quebec and Levis, Portneuf, Charlevoix, Lotbiniere, Beauce, Bellechasse, Montmagny-Islet and Kamouraska-Riviere-du-Loup-Temiscouata.
Mobilis Corporation organizes every year the International Auto Show in Quebec and it conveys the Mobilis Foundation, which helps people with mobility difficulties.
