A Fall Classic Tremblant Beneath the gray

Usually it is the beautiful autumn colors on the Circuit de Tremblant hosting pilot program of six classes held over two days at the Fall Classic.

This time, it is rather in the gray and sometimes even under a heavy rain that competitors had to deal particularly in the early after-noon Saturday, Sept. 21 the last day of summer 2013.

These are the drivers of the two classes of formulas that were the worst Free with reduced visibility and sometimes almost zero for drivers in the midfield departures during qualifying sessions that followed each other without loss of time, except to pick up cars parts slide across the trail.

For example, at its first output, the friend Didier Schraenen is paying a superb 360 he managed to control and get back on track without breaking.

Most of the morning sessions were interrupted a few times for track outputs. Fortunately it was qualifying sessions.

Among the best qualified for these morning sessions, Franc Roiron the Ottawa region was the fastest on his Renault Formula 2 Formula Libre group 2.

In G70 +, Christian Rouleau which shows the fastest on the Civic number 880.

In GT Challenge, the young Jesse Lazare who was the fastest on the beautiful 2011 Porsche GT3 Cup number 2 of the GT Racing team with the fastest time of the morning at 1:56:829.

Group A in Formula Libre, in fact the Formula Tour 1600, Tristan DEGRAND Team Exclusive Autosport on the Spectrum-Honda has merit for the position of head of the first two races of the weekend.

In the second qualifying session for the GT Challenge, the audience had the privilege to see the track super orange 2013 McLaren Eric Karub, but Jean Audet on the Porsche 701 number which is first class. McLaren in the hands of Jean-Francois Dumoulin finished second.

Vintage class in the last session of the morning, this is Anthony Polito on the beautiful and powerful Mustang Shelby GT350 number 46 of 1966 which was the most veloce before its sibling number 146 Jim Middleton.

All races of the after noon were SCHEDULED for 15 laps. Victories went to Franc Roiron in Formula Libre Group 2, Rodrigo Hererra in GT70 +, Jesse Lazare GT Challenge, Tristan DEGRAND Formula Tour 1600 and Anthony Polito in Vintage.

It was not the ideal day to show pictures of the beautiful autumn colors Tremblant. We had rather a right wings of angels.

We were a little more optimistic for the day Sunday, weather forecasts PROVIDED few passages sunny mid-day. It was being in the right place at the right time to take pictures with blue sky, but at least it was not the fleet yesterday.

Victory and championship for the new team Exclusive Autosport

Having dominated much of the 2013 season, it is ultimately Thomas McGregor Exclusive Team Autosport Saskatoon who was declared the champion of the 2013 season of the Formula Tour 1600 at podium ceremonies at the end of day Sunday.

Note the absence of winning both races of the weekend the young Tristan DEGRAND who had to go take a quick flight home to him.

They are the owners of the beautiful team of Spectrum-Honda, Michael and Kimberly Duncalfe who were on the podium to accept the trophies of two victories Classic Automme for DEGRAND.

For cons, the champion of Thomas McGregor season there was with several members of the new dominant team of the 2013 season ..

McLaren Orange

We had a beautiful delivery of McLaren during Challenge GT race since the two fastest cars of yesterday, the McLaren Cherub and Viper Montour had from back of the grid as they had all two new pilots on board. Cherub in place of Dumoulin in the McLaren and Marc Montour instead of his son Louis-Philippe in the Viper.

The two quickly back the whole field to engage in a great battle head for a few laps. It is finally Eric Kerub the beautiful orange that is mounted on the top step of the podium held under a beautiful blue sky. Better late than never for fall colors Circuit.

Wins and Podiums

The victories of the day Sunday went to Franc Roiron Formula Libre, Ernie Jakubowski on Porshe in GT70 +, Enrico Sasso VW GT Challenge, Anthony Polito in Vintage and Jacques Gravel BMW M3 GT Group 2.

We will expect the Spring Classic 2014 see the sun on Tremblant. Fingers crossed we X.
