Less than 72 hours after the opening of orders for its new 1500 truck engine crew Ecodiesel, RAM had already received more than 8,000 applications for its dealers, fulfilling the initial order book. This represents half of the RAM 2014 is foreseen so far. Another surprise, more than half of these trucks are sold to customers who have not yet tried the vehicle.

The RAM 1500 Ecodiesel, with a towing capacity 9200 lbs (4173 kg) and a consumption of 8.4 L/100 km on the highway, is the only truck in 1500 to offer a diesel engine on the market.
