Honda has sold more than one million hybrid vehicles

It was last September that the manufacturer records the sale of its millionth vehicle propelled by a hybrid powertrain.

The first hybrid model offered by Honda Insight was the cut, launches in November 1999. He inaugurated by the fact the same technology Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) that can still be found today under the hood of the Honda and Acura hybrid.

In the not very distant future, Honda will offer new models a hybrid IMA technology, some of which include one or two electric motors, or even three for the Acura NSX cutting currently developing.

Very recently, Toyota announced that it delivers more than 4 million hybrid vehicles since 1997.
