General Motors of Canada adds new shifts has its Oshawa

General Motors of Canada upheld the amendments made to schedule the Oshawa assembly plant and factory Powertrain St. Catharines.

To meet the demand of the market for any new Chevrolet Impala, the redesigned flagship sedan brand, General Motors of Canada added a third shift on the chain flexible manufacturing plant in Oshawa assembly. 

In addition, a production shift will be extended on the chain CONSOLIDATED until June 2014. 

A third production shift will be added at the factory Powertrain St. Catharines to support the manufacture of transmissions has traction with a six-speed box. All his actions are taken depending on the market demand.

Since the launch of the new GM in 2009, the manufacturer has announced considerable investment in Canadian manufacturing plants, totaling about one billion dollars.
