Lada 2107: a legend which disappears

Lada 2107 appeared in 1982 on the Russian automotive chessboard, the one that was considered at the relevant time as people's car, as had been the Beetle for Volkswagen.

At its debut, it was a Fiat 124 Assembly in Russia under license. Last week, she still bore the name of Lada 2107.

Renault comes to the rescue

Following has strategic agreements between Renault and AvtoVAZ, the huge complex of Togliatti will make way for the assembly of more modern cars.

Currently, Renault has two factories in Russia, one situated in Moscow and one in St. Petersburg. The Togliatti plant also serves to assemble products Dacia, referred by the Russian market.
