Peugeot main automotive partner of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union
The Polish government will take, with effect from 1 July 2011, the six-month rotating presidency of the European Union. Peugeot, as such, was chosen by the Polish authorities as the main partner of the automotive logistics afferent to meetings and conferences to be held in Poland in the second half.
A fleet of 117 vehicles Peugeot has made available over the period.
- The Peugeot 508, new large sedan statutory Brand launched in Poland in March 2011, will be represented in force with 52 copies
- Transport delegations will comfortably provides 52 Partner Tepee
- The fleet will be supplemented by Peugeot 5 4007 Partner Tepee 5 and 3 copies of the Peugeot iOn, 100% electric compact urban new generation.
During a ceremony in Warsaw on June 8, Stefano Casadio, President of Peugeot Polska, symbolically handed over the keys of the vehicles to Mr Mikolaj Dowgielewicz, Plenipotentiary of the Government for the coordination of the exercise by the Republic of Poland the Presidency of the European Union, in the presence of a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affair, Ambassador of France and media representatives.
Stefano Casadio stressed that the choice of Peugeot by the Polish authorities, recognition of the fundamental qualities of its models, especially in terms of technological advances and environmental commitment, was a pride for the brand.
