Cadillac should develop its own flagship
I was present in 2003 when a Detroit-General Motors unveiled its concept "Sixteen" Cadillac. A very long sedan powered by a V16 engine with 32 valves power was estimated to be 1,000 horses.
Since that time, we learn here and that GM management still toying with the idea to develop a luxury sedan that we would like to see compete with cars that are both branded Audi A8, BMW Series 7, Mercedes-Benz S-Class or a rigor the "little" Rolls Royce Ghost.
Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept
The year passes, Cadillac presented at NAIAS concept "XTS Platinum" propelled by a hybrid engine whose power totals 354 horses.
It would not be surprising to see one day emule this concept rolling on our roads, once the decision is made to produce this large sedan highest level.
I would not even be surprised to see this great car to be offered, with supplement, with a hybrid drive of the same type as that found under the hood of the Chevrolet Volt.
By holding the next edition of the International Motor Show in Detroit in January, it may be that the decision to produce or not this large sedan is already taken.
