Renault promotes the automotive industry with youth at the 20th anniversary of the ACEA
"Sustainable mobility accessible to everyone" is at the heart of the strategy of Renault and in this context, Renault participates in 20 years ACEA (Association of Automobile Manufacturers Europeans).
• ACEA celebrated its 20th anniversary this year and this time, it provides a forum in Brussels from 22 to 25 June.
• During this event, young european 18 to 30 years are invited to share their ideas and thoughts on the future of transport and mobility: "Our Future Mobility Now".
• Renault participated in this event, to educate youth about mobility and enhance the automotive industry with them.
Renault actor mobility of tomorrow, takes part in the "Our Future Mobility Now" forum ACEA, held a Autoworld, Brussels from 22 to 25 June 46 young Europeans from 15 different countries, selected by the project ACEA, participate in discussions on the future of mobility and transport, with leaders from the automotive industry and the European Union. Renault delegation will be led by Claire Martin, Director of Social Responsibility of the Company and the Renault Foundation, Mr. Remi Bastien, Director of Research, Advanced Studies and Materials and Patrick Hoffstetter, Director of Digital. Three students currently in course in the study programs supported by the Renault Foundation will accompany.
This decision is consistent with the ambitious recruitment plan 2011 Renault wishing to host 1,500 people in France CDI for all trades, including 400 young engineering graduates to work in the engineering and manufacturing. These recruitments are also accompanied by a very active approach to integrating young alternating even before their first job search. This is an opportunity for them to acquire real professional skills, to discover the wealth of crafts Renault. By the end of 2011, 2700 will be alternating present in the company, with a goal of reaching 5% alternating in its workforce by 2013.

As part of the exhibition that accompanies the forum ACEA, Renault will present:
- a demonstrator Carminat TomTom Live (integrated navigation and connected the cheapest on the market)
- an electric vehicle, Fluence Z.E. "See-through" (for cutting the car to discover the interior of the vehicle)
- an Energy TCe Concept engine.

In addition, Renault prepare the future by committing to an ambitious vis-a-vis objective of global warming, announces its strategic plan "Renault 2016 - Drive The Change" reduce its carbon footprint by 10% 2013 and a further 10% between 2013 and 2016.
