Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS: The sprawling range

The International Motor Show in Paris last year, the manufacturer had unveiled its Porsche Carrera GTS models propulsion.

Today is the turn of a four-wheel drive versions to wear shield "GTS".

With the arrival of these new models, the range of the legendary Porsche 911 now has 23 different declinations, all offered in North America.

The Carrera 4 GTS

As is usual with the manufacturer, the new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS is offered in coupe and convertible versions.

They also borrow stylistic dimension of a propulsion GTS versions whose rear wings had been extended to reflect those of AWD already existing models.

The engine Carrera GTS

These AWD versions are offered the same engine available to the Carrera GTS.

It is of course the powerful six-cylinder Boxer engine with a flat cylinder 3.8 liter with a power of 408 horsepower and torque of 310 lb-ft. Of a six-speed manual box, robot PDK double-clutch seven-speed accompany all.

A drivetrain that allows cutting from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.6 seconds with the manual gearbox, or win with 0.2 seconds sequential transmission. Convertibles versions require additional 0.2 seconds to reach 100 km / h.
