These first images of the new generation of the Opel Astra GTC shown here in a virtual landscape ... But if it evolves on an imaginary road, very real trial versions as to make it past all the validations on the road: the Astra GTC is officially a reality in process.

June 7 - in just six weeks - Opel will reveal all the features of the Astra GTC, at the same time will open the order books. The price, engines, equipment and boxes will have no secrets for future clients, who can concoct their ideal model. The first production version of the new Opel Astra GTC will be unveiled to the general public world premiere at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt, September 15, 2011.

Based on the Opel GTC Paris concept car presented early October 2010 at the Mondial de l'Automobile, the production Astra GTC will be a 5-seater and sport compact 3 door displaying a spectacular line. It will obviously well past the Opel technological innovations and unique frame functions.

Available in America?

Very recently, we learned that it is possible that General Motors-possibly take the decision to move to America some models of the Opel Astra range, including the sporty version GTC under the Buick brand.

A decision could be taken on the occasion of the holding of the next International Motor Show in Frankfurt in September.
