Infiniti Canada announces pricing for its new luxury sedan 2011 M37 and M56
Value content and greatly improved, couples more powerful V6 and V8 engines bigger and more fuel efficient
Infiniti Canada today unveiled the official prices and estimates of fuel economy for 2011 models of its luxury performance sedans. The new models M37 and M56, as well as offering style, performance, luxury, craftsmanship and technology of new generation models M, also claiming improved fuel economy estimates.
Newcomer in 2011, the M37 model was powered 3.7-liter engine and has sold $ 52,400 CA, or a lower starting price of $ 3100 to that of 2010 model V6. Similarly, the new model M56 with 5.6-liter engine is also available in fashion this year propulsion at a lower price of $ 3350 to that of the V8 model 2010.
The retail price suggested by the manufacturer (MSRP) of the 2011 M37 integral traction engine and 330 hp totaled CA $ 54,900, or $ 600 less than the V6 model 2010. Minimum MSRP of M56 AWD and 420 hp engine is CA $ 68,700, or $ 850 less than the previous V8 model. Both models have new features, including:
• a new external design
• A 7-speed automatic transmission
• The drive mode selector Infiniti
• Electric folding exterior mirrors of
• lighting a home in the front door handles
• an active noise control
• a RearView
• Intelligent Key has an improved memory (its options, navigation and control of the temperature)
M sedans 2011 flagship products of the Infiniti brand, not only offer more value and content, but also with energy efficiency gains of up to 1.7 L/100 km compared to models M 2010.
Compared to models of the previous generation, the 2011 M models offer the following improvements in terms of horsepower, torque and fuel economy:
2011 models M37 M37x M56 M56x
Horsepower (hp) 330 (+27) 330 (+27) 420 (+95) 420 (+95)
Torque (lb-ft) 270 (+8) 270 (+8) 417 (+81) 417 (+81)
City L/100km 11.4 12.0 (-1.3) 12.9 13.4 (-1.7)
Highway L/100 km 7.6 8.3 (-0.8) 8.0 8.5 (-1.7)
"The all-new powertrains 2011 Infiniti M models offer increased power and efficiency," says Wendy Durward, head of Infiniti Canada division. "Our V6 and V8 engines have won respectively 9% and nearly 30% in power and now reaches 330 hp and 420 hp, while torque has increased from 24% to 417 lb-ft all, surprisingly, decreasing fuel consumption of 1.7 L/100 km on the highway for the M56x and 0.8 L/100 km on the highway for the M37x AWD. "
Multiple technological innovations allow a all new Infiniti M models offer these increases in power and torque as well as a marked improvement in terms of efficiency energetics. The 3.7-liter V6 and the new 5.6-liter V8 both use the control system of adjustment of continuous distribution (CVTCS for "Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System") in order to optimize the distribution valves intake and exhaust. Technology levee system Variable Valve Timing (VVEL) is also applied to the intake valves V6 and V8 engines to improve performance and efficiency energetics and reduce emission.
In addition, the new 5.6-liter V8 has technology fuel injection, which allows to control more precisely the combustion to reduce emissions, improve the fuel economy and increase the torque. All models are equipped with M 2011 series automatic transmission has a 7-speed electronic control. Thanks to these improved results in terms of fuel economy, the fee for excessive fuel consumption applied in Ontario, which was of $ 1200 M45x for 2010 is only $ 75 for the M56x 2011.
"Add 95 horsepower and 81 lb-ft of torque while improving energy efficiency is quite a feat of engineering," says Wendy Durward. "Moreover, we are convinced that the buyers will be impressed above all by the flexible and responsive to our new V6 and V8 engines performance. More power efficiency: here is a perfect definition of Inspired Performance. "
The all-new 2011 Infiniti M should make their entrance at Infiniti dealers nationwide March 18, 2011.
