Audi Canada reiterated its commitment to the Canadian market

Since the establishment of a multidisciplinary Canadian head office in 2005, Audi Canada has experienced significant growth with two consecutive record years in sales. To better meet the needs and requirements of the Canadian market, Audi Canada today announced the appointment of a new director of sales and a new director of marketing and product management. 

In fact, as of today, Douglas Clark is the new sales manager of the company. In this capacity, Mr. Clark is responsible for all sales efforts vehicles in Canada, volume planning, incentive programs and management initiatives relationships with dealers. He reports directly to Diego Ramos, Executive Vice President of Audi Canada. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Clark was director of communications, marketing and public relations at the registered office of Audi Ajax, Ontario. He has extensive experience in the field of marketing and public relations. 

"Doug brings with him a great experience and will make its Canadian market priority. He knows our dealers, and skills will help our team succeed in launching new models and maintain our momentum in sales," stated Mr. Ramos .

Douglas Clark has joined Audi of America Auburn Hills, Michigan, in 1996 and has worked as Director of Communications and Marketing since 2005. Holds a Bachelor in Political Science from Princeton University.

Clark replaces the highly respected John Walker, who chose to return to Australia. Audi Canada also announced the appointment of Karsten Ruwoldt replaces Clark as director of marketing and product management. Mr. Ruwoldt has joined Audi of America in 2003. Having held various positions in marketing, planning and product management, Mr. Ruwoldt has joined Audi Canada in May 2006, as Director of Planning products, pricing and development of dealers. He holds a degree in economic science from the Freie Universitat Berlin, Germany. In addition to his duties as Director of Marketing, Mr. Ruwoldt be responsible for Audi Canada, initiatives on prices and products. "Karsten has demonstrated its continued dedication to quality and performance and we thus brings extensive operational experience and a good knowledge of his new position. Its record in product planning will be an enviable asset to the growth of Audi Canada, "said John Ramos. "These recent changes reflect the will of Audi to promote inside, stated Mr. Ramos. With our plans to hire many new employees, nearly doubling the current team, we are well position to continue our growth in this important market. "

Audi Canada has recently launched four new models such as the R8 sports car winning central engine, the price of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada, the Audi TT Coupe and Roadster and the new sport coupe Audi S5 who also been premium. The success of these and other vehicles did grow sales of Audi and we have some new models arriving in showrooms in the coming months.
