Translogic 194: 2016 Toyota Prius
Translogic host Jonathon Buckley spent a few days getting to know the all-new 2016 Toyota Prius, filming his impressions along the way. Now in its fourth generation, the popular hybrid receives upgrades in efficiency, driving dynamics, and styling. But will it be enough to win over our host?
"I've maybe been, a little bit unfairly so, critical of the Prius over the last few years," admits Jonathon. "Living in California, they're probably the most common car you'll see."
"It's kind of perfect for a major metropolitan city like Los Angeles."
During his drive, Jonathon called up AutoblogGreen Editor-in-Chief Sebastian Blanco for a bit more context about what has made Prius synonymous with "hybrid" for over a decade.
"This car spearheaded the idea of a green car in a lot of people's minds, and I think that opened the door to what we're seeing today, with more plugin vehicles, and now with hydrogen vehicles," Sebastian said.
"This defined green cars for people."
