Chevrolet Malibu 2014 more generous and less energy

Chevrolet has unveiled the Malibu sedan model year 2014. A car of intermediate caliber that does not just offer a simple facelift to its distinguished clientele.

A more refined car, more spacious and more especially thrifty.

It is characterized by:

grille slightly rethought;

its more generous cabin for passengers in the back of the car;

its redesigned console;

the new system of detection of obstacles on the odds.

Start-stop technology

Its new 2.5-liter four-cylinder that delivers 196 horsepower force, made up a start-stop technology, which has the function to stop the engine whenever the car will stop.

A technological approach that allows it to offer energy balance of 8.7 L/100 km city and 5.6 L/100 km on the highway.

The turbocharged 2.0-liter engine offers 14% more torque, compared to previous data.

New chassis

Improvements to the chassis of the Malibu 2014 were inspired by those used on the new Chevrolet Impala, including:

an energy-efficient electric steering rack and pinion assistance;

antilock brakes and electronic distribution quadruple braking circuit;

a system Brake Assist and Cornering Brake Control;

a hydraulic system to aid fainting brakes;

the traction control functions;

a control system for stability on all four wheels;

a control system of the friction torque.
