Subaru is working on a brand new boxer engine
The famous flat Boxer engine Subaru is about to celebrate its 20th anniversary. This in no way prevents the engineers of the Japanese manufacturer working on a new version of this engine, simply indestructible.
A thrifty engine
To better cope with new or future standards in matters of fuel consumption and especially fumes of CO2 in the atmosphere, Subaru has to offer much more efficient engines.
Design a more economical than that currently found under the hood of some models Forester, Impreza and Legacy, which should not be very difficult for these engineers Boxer engine.
Thus, the Boxer engine has come again and should always be offered in displacements of 2.0 and 2.5 liters.
