Road tests for the Toyota i-Road
In Geneva, Toyota submitted its concept i-Road as a closed three-wheeled motorcycle engine maker.
Its design aims to facilitate urban displacements, among other things, ignoring traffic jams. Note that passengers are seated in tandem.
Its dimensions are impressive:
length 2350 mm;
wheelbase of 1700 mm;
width 850 mm;
height of 1445 mm.
The car weighs only 300 pounds!
Two electric motors
Despite its very small dimensions, the i-Road features two electric motors 2 kW places at the front wheels, powered by a lithium-ion. Through a household outlet, charging full battery takes only three hours.
The autonomy of the Toyota i-Road Concept is around 50 km at an average speed of 30 km / h and its top speed is 50 km / h.
Finely balanced, the front wheels of the vehicle small bow in the direction of the direction chosen by the driver.
