World Car of the year: the candidates under

In 2005, the price of the first World Car of the year, also called World Car of the Year (WCOTY) was awarded to the Audi A6 sedan.

An event that was set up by a totally independent organization, which comprises sixty left journalists around the world, including many Europeans, Asians and Americans. They also receive valuable advice from designers and engineers. Everything happens under the supervision of KPMG, whose notoriety is recognized worldwide.

Eligibles cars to be marketed between the end of the year 2012 and the first five months of 2013. Initially, there is usually a sixty cars, three of which they become finalists.

The International Motor Show in Geneva, we subtract three finalists and it is a month later, the Auto Show New York, will be unveiled as the name of the winner of the title of World Car of the 'years.

In addition to this highly coveted prize, we will also unveil the recipients of the following titles:

Performance car of the year;

Green Car of the year;

The most interesting car design of the year.

This year, 10 cars are nominated under World Car of the Year 2013, it is the same for appointments under World Performance Car. Five cars claim to be able to grab the title of World Green Car of the Year, while six have cars that compete for the title of World Car Design of the Year.
