Mini electric MINI: to scale? for the Olympics

BMW, which is the automaker most involved in the Olympic Games in London, presents its three small remote-controlled electric Mini to scale 1/4, with a power of 10 horses.

They are called Mini MINI measure 1110 mm long and weigh 25 kilos.

Their main role is to serve the transport of equipment for athletes in areas competitions: javelins, hammers, discs and other accessories.

With the complicity of their sunroof, they can carry up to 8 pounds of equipment.

Their range is 100 meters for an estimated 30 minutes autonomy, while their battery can be recharged in 80 minutes.
