We saw for the very first time in 2010 at the Paris Motor Show in Paris.
Since then, Jaguar has finally announced that its super sports car would be produced and only 250 units will be assembled by hand.
For the occasion, the British manufacturer is associated to the stable Williams F1 whose engineers will focus their energies in a frame design ultra light carbon fiber. They also collaborate in the design of the plug-in hybrid powertrain of the car.
Rechargeable hybrid engine
The petrol engine developed by Cosworth is a four-cylinder 1.6-liter biturbo whose power will exceed 300 horses. To this are added two electric motors on the front axle left and rear. They are fed by batteries rechargeable lithium-ion battery. In total, the 2013 Jaguar C-X75 would announce an output of over 500 horsepower.
