Chevrolet Spark EV: Sold in limited quantities

Chevrolet announced today that it will produce an all electric version of the Spark minicar that will be named Spark EV. The vehicle will be sold in limited quantities in some world markets commencing in 2013.
"The Spark EV offers customers living in urban areas, who often travel short distances, all electric solution," said Jim Federico, global chief engineer of electric vehicles at GM. "It adds to the range of electrified vehicles Chevrolet growing, including among others the electric Volt autonomy prolonged and 2013 Malibu Eco with eAssist technology."
