Nissan Canada announces the beginning of the pan-Canadian tour "CONNECT WITH THE LEAF"
MISSISSAUGA, ON (September 2, 2011) - Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) today announced, on September 6, the Canada-wide tour of the fully electric Nissan LEAF. During this tour, the Canadians traveling in the Nissan LEAF certified dealers will have the opportunity to test drive and learn more about a zero emission vehicle.
The tour "Tune into the LEAF" will begin at Montreal and ends in Vancouver in late October, after the judgments of one or two days in each LEAF certified dealers in 27. This is a unique driving experience which is thus proposed to consumers. It will offer potential owners of a Nissan LEAF an opportunity to familiarize with the car, its technology, features and take the wheel for a short test drive.

27 certified dealers for electric vehicles involved in the tour and three Nissan LEAF will be available for test drives, in addition to a model on display. Road tests on a journey of five kilometers will be proposed to give the driver ample time to appreciate the comfort and driving the Nissan LEAF in real conditions. Experts will be on hand to answer questions from potential clients and accompany them during the test drive.
In addition to form their own driving experience, guests can learn about the options of charging at home, low cost of operation and telematics system CARWINGS Nissan. This system allows the Nissan LEAF owners to contact their vehicle via a smart phone.
