The model unveiled Infiniti G Anniversary Gala Canadian Art
Inspired by Cirque du Soleil (R), a single cut G Marks the 20th Anniversary of Infiniti
Infiniti Canada has unveiled last night in Toronto on anniversary artistic vehicle Infiniti G37 during the 14th Canadian Art Gallery Hop Gala. To mark the 20th anniversary of Infiniti, Infiniti Canada partnered with Cirque du Soleil (R) to create a unique G37 sport coupe. Montreal artist Heidi Taillefer created the unique look of the vehicle and has spent almost a month to paint the outside of the vehicle by hand.
"The 20th anniversary of Infiniti represent an important milestone and we wanted to celebrate this anniversary in a totally unique way and representative of the Infiniti brand," declared the Director of Infiniti Canada, Wendy Durward. "These beautiful and intricate designs express the commitment of Infiniti Inspired Performance of matter, which revealed in everything we do."
Infiniti's partner and inspiration for artistic design section G birthday, Cirque du Soleil, which celebrated its 25th anniversary rating, also was present at the unveiling of the artistic version of the G37.
"Infiniti and Cirque du Soleil all celebrate two important anniversaries this year and work has such a unique and special project was an amazing experience," stated the Director, Corporate Partnerships Cirque du Soleil, Ryan Sandilands. "Spectators Cirque du Soleil in Canada will soon get to see this amazing vehicle as it will be exposed in the course of some shows."
Heidi Taillefer is one of the artists who propose a design for the exterior of the Infiniti G cup. No structural changes needed to be made so that the car can remain secure, able to conduct and be put up for auction to benefit a charity. This is the proposal to Heidi Taillefer, titled Ligozzi, which has been selected. The artist spent much of August and beginning of September the vehicle paint.
"I was very excited when I was asked to participate in this project. G Use the cut as a canvas is an extraordinary challenge," stated Heidi Taillefer. "With Cirque as inspiration, I had the freedom to explore and juxtapose influences unusual. I am very proud of the look of my PIECE on the vehicle. In my opinion, this is a special tribute to birthdays Infiniti and Cirque du Soleil. "
Infiniti G anniversary will be exposed a few times during the tour of Cirque du Soleil and during other events in the coming months. Thereafter, the vehicle will be auctioned off in a charity organization. For more information, please visit www.infiniti.ca/ site.
