Q1 was I remember the history of registration in Quebec
Again this year, the Musee du Chateau Ramezay presents an exhibition of the most interesting, titled From Q1 has I remember. This exhibition tells the story not only of the registration in Quebec but also the growth of motoring in Quebec, and by the very fact, that of Quebec.
The author of this exhibition, Guy Thibault, author of a book entitled The registration in Quebec (GID Edition), is a leading authority on automobile license plates. In addition to DeDion-Bouton in 1898 bearing the registration plate Q1 (in fact, it is the first car registered in Quebec!), Mr. Thibault is surrounded by his collection of plates, some of which are very Old and very rare and several ancient artifacts has subsequently assembled cars. It is a part of the history of Quebec is thus shows and better explained.
The exhibition From Q1 has I remember will be held at Chateau Ramezay from 5 May to 29 June 2008. For more information, see www.chateauramezay.qc.ca.
