This weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Jaguar presents its concept called Project 7, designed based on the F-Type convertible.
For the manufacturer, the number 7 refers to the total number of wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, obtained between 1951 and 1990.
Aesthetically, the car gives himself airs Jaguar D Type 50 years.
It differentiates the F-Type series by
its aluminum body;
its very small windshield tilts;
his car configuration;
its protective barrel;
its imposing wing.
The car was offered a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 550 horsepower power. This is the same engine found under the hood of the Jaguar XFR-S, XJR and XKR-S.
It is coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
