Buick has its way commemorates its 110th anniversary
The first Buick was assembled by hand in a barn located at the rear of the house of David Dunbar Buick in Detroit.
For the occasion, the brand presents us 11 highlights that occurred during the 11 last decades:
1904 the Model B is the smallest car with a length of 2108 mm.
1936 Century became the first car to reach 100 mph (161 km / h).
1938 Buick Y-Job comic by Harley Earl, becomes the first concept in the world.
1963 Buick Riviera celebrates this year its 50th anniversary.
1970: Release of the larger engine, a 7.5 liter V8 produced for five years.
1975: Electra is the largest sedan ever offered by the brand (5936 mm).
1981 and 1982: two championships and NASCAR Pace Car for the Indianapolis 500.
1987 GNX pass a 0 to 60 mph (100 km / h) in 4.6 seconds, a record.
1991 and 2008: Family Roadmaster Estate and Enclave crossover has seven seats.
2012: a Regal GS becomes faster after reaching 162 mph (261 km / h).
2012: 43 million vehicles sold to date Buick.
