Ford recalls 230,000 minivans in Canada and the United States
The American automaker Ford announced Thursday the recall of approximately 230,000 minivans sold in Canada and the United States.
Song rust can cause detachment removable seats of the third row.
These vehicles, built between 2004 and 2007, have been sold primarily in Canada and the American States or salt is used for deicing roads.
Vehicles covered: Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey.
Ford reported no accidents or injuries related to this problem. The concerned owners will be notified by letter during the last week of March.
Dealers will replace the ties of seats and install the panels near rear wheels to prevent water from seeping.
