Mazda Canada saw its sales increase in 2012
Mazda Canada today announced that it sold 71,638 vehicles in 2012, an increase of 4% compared to 2011.
The Mazda3 is still the most popular Mazda vehicle range, with sales of 39,295 units in 2012, up 6% year to date. This is the new CX-5 which has become the second most popular vehicle of Mazda in 2012, 11,301 units have found a buyer and dopant and 98% sales of the CX line of crossovers Mazda vehicles compared to 2011. The Mazda5 completes the podium with 5,267 units sold in 2012.
SKYACTIV technology becomes increasingly popular, equipping 46% of all Mazda vehicles sold in 2012. Mazda3 SKYACTIV technology with, representing 55% of sales of this model in Canada in 2012, attracts very many customers.
The Mazda6 has finished the year in beauty, 5,128 units have found a buyer in 2012, an increase of 40% year to date. The all-new Mazda6 is very expected in 2014 and with a retail price suggested by the manufacturer of just $ 24,495, this enthusiasm should not falter in 2013. Sales in December 2012, amounting to 3,561 units, have decreased by 27% compared to December 2011. Moreover, sales of the Mazda6 and CX-9 increased by 73% and 40% respectively, the CX -9 having recorded the best month of December in its history.
