Games genie Quebec 2013
Competition of "THE MACHINE" in the Montreal Science Centre on Sunday January 6.
Of students from 12 academic institutions compete.
Visitors to the Science Centre and media representatives are invited to attend the spectacular competition of "THE MACHINE" to be held at Montreal Science Centre this Sunday, Jan. 6 as part of the 23rd edition of the Games Genie Quebec organized by the students of Polytechnique Montreal.
Prototypes designed by students in engineering from 12 Quebec universities operate on a railway track and will succeed the maximum number of challenges along the way. The delegations working in the design and realization of their "machine" since already four months. The competition will take place under the watchful eye of the public and judges.
About the Game Genie
Genie Games are the largest and most prestigious competition of engineering in Quebec. During the latter, more than 500 students have the opportunity to evaluate their academic skills, technical, sporting and social by confronting the delegations of 12 Quebec universities that bring together the majority of the engineering areas of the province. The students will develop their team spirit while pushing their individual limits, to be united in this clash of universities or Confuse the challenges and trade.
