Toyota Canada recalls 9,000 Tacoma trucks

Tacoma truck keys were produced between the years 2001 and 2004.

On some vehicles, excessive corrosion of the support plate of the spare tire may cause detachment of the tire stores under the truck.

If the spare tire fell on the floor, it would cause a hazard that could result in an accident causing property damage or personal injury.

The concerned owners will eventually receive a notice inviting them to go to the dealer for repairs that are needed, or replacement of defective the room free of charge.
