General Motors of Canada ratified its agreement with the CAW
General Motors of Canada has published the following statement after the vote that employees have the approval of the recent collective agreement with the CAW:
"We appreciate the frank and direct discussions with our partners in the TCA cycle negations," stated David Wenner, general director of labor relations for General Motors of Canada. "Since 2009, GM announced a significant distribution of vehicles and investments in our Canadian manufacturing facilities demonstrating our commitment to Canada. Over the next four years, we will continue to leverage our partnership with the CAW to identify opportunities for improvement of the competitiveness of our Canadian activities. "
