AJAC tested the best vehicles in 2012
It is almost sixty journalists across Canada, members of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC), who come to spend the whole week to test the 56 cars and vehicles qualify as best model in each of the 11 predetermined categories.
Among them, we find the columnists Car Guide Denis Duquet, Nadine Filion, Marc Lachapelle, Alain Morin and Sylvain Raymond, who come to stuff a test track and plethora of activities related to they will determine the best vehicles available in Canada for the 2012 model year.
This exercise, commonly called "Test Fest" takes place over four intensive days on the grounds of the Airport Regional Niagara District, Ontario.
Hyundai, the biggest winner
The winner of this annual exercise is South Korean manufacturer Hyundai, which leaves with three titles very taken, are those of the "Best Small Car Under $ 21,000", "Best New Small Car over $ 21,000" and the "Best sports car / performance less than $ 50,000."
BMW, Kia and Mercedes-Benz leave each with two trophies well merits.

Family Car (over $ 30,000): Kia Optima Hybrid
Luxury Car (over $ 50,000): Mercedes-Benz C350 4MATIC Sedan
Prestige Car (over $ 75,000): Mercedes-Benz S350 BlueTEC 4MATIC
New Sports / Performance (less than $ 50,000): Hyundai Veloster
New Sports / Performance (over $ 50,000): BMW 1 Series M Coupe
SUV / CUV (under $ 35,000): Dodge Journey
SUV / CUV (under $ 60,000): Volkswagen Touareg TDI
SUV / CUV (over $ 60,000): BMW X3
