Toyota is investing 545 million in its Canadian plants
To modernize its LOCATED Canadian manufacturing plants in Cambridge and Woodstock, Toyota will invest $ 545 million.
Of this amount, the governments of Canada and Ontario are contributing through repayable loans to the tune of $ 70.8 million.
All these big dollars will a Toyota renew its equipment to assemble new, more economical and clean vehicles, over the next year.
Renewal of various painting workshops is an integral part of this approach the Japanese manufacturer.
Both Toyota assembly plants in Canada give employment over 6500 workers.
