Best Engines 2011: The approach of Ward's Automotive
The company distributes famous Ward's 17 years now its trophies manufacturers who have designed and developed the 10 best engines of the year.
For the 2011 edition, the various specialists have tested 38 vehicles powered by many different engines. They were tried by their performance at their technology, their sonority, their driveability, consumption of raw materials and polluting fumes.
The different laureates receive their official title of "Best Engine 2011" in January, when holding the Auto Show in Detroit.

For the first time in his life, found in the competition as a "Best Engine of the Year" Ward'Automotive two cars powered by an electric motor which are among the best choices for 2011. Consider the Chevrolet Volt and Nissan LEAF ranking to the 6th and 8th.
