Nissan gives $ 10,000 for emergency relief efforts in Canada
Nissan announced today that it paid immediately in cash donation of $ 10,000 to the Red Cross to help with relief efforts in Canada because of the devastation caused by Hurricane Igor. These funds will help to repair the damage in Newfoundland and Labrador.
"Many regions of Newfoundland and Labrador have been devastated by Hurricane Igor and we want to participate in the reconstruction efforts in this province," stated Allen Childs, President of Nissan Canada Inc.
Nissan Canada Inc. and Nissan North America are committed to each make a donation of $ 5,000.
Long ago that Nissan responds to humanitarian needs and emergency relief efforts with the assistance of organizations like the Canadian and American Red Cross, the Army of Hi, Habitat for Humanity International, the Habitat for Humanity Canada even many food banks.
